After living in Belmont Shore for years and trying to get them to allow dogs in the Christmas Parade… it finally happened… after we moved. Thanks to Southern California’s CorgiNation.

Pretty dreadful video but you get the idea… likely some club members were here… even more likely, some of our pet owners were here.

The herding instinct test will introduce your Corgi to 3 head of dog broke sheep to see if the Corgi can herd. Instinct can not be taught and prior experience on stock is not required. Judy Vanderford, a herding trial judge knowledgeable in herding instinct, will take your Corgi into the arena for the test and conduct the evaluation for instinct.
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern CA is offering this framed watercolor at raffle to help support the Corgi Only Herding Trial. The painting was donated to the club by Ron Campbell in memory of his wife Pat, a long-time member of the Southern CA club. The painting was lovingly cared for by Pat and is in excellent condition. The outer dimensions of the framed piece are approximately 14” by 17”. The artist, Pat Jensen, is well known to the Pembroke Community as both an artist and breeder, “Larchmont”.
Tickets may be purchased by contacting A.J. Listman at firstname.lastname@example.org. The drawing for the painting will be held at the herding trial, Sunday, April 14, 2013. Winners need not be present at drawing. Ticket prices are 1 ticket for $1.00 or 6 tickets for $5.00.
