Membership

The PWCCSC welcomes new members and invites you to become a part of our organization, whether you are a current or future Corgi owner.

Membership Requirements

To become a member of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California, Inc., an applicant must be in good standing with the American Kennel Club and must agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws of the PWCCSC and the Code of Ethics of the PWCCA.

An applicant must attend one PWCCSC function before submitting an application. The application must carry the endorsement of two regular members in good standing, not of the same family, who have known the applicant for at least six months and who have been members themselves for at least one year.

To remain a regular member in good standing, a member is expected to attend a minimum of one-half of all regular club meetings and sponsored club functions each year.

For those wishing to become a club member who either do not live in the area or cannot attend functions, PWCCSC offers an Associate Membership. To become an Associate Member, one must meet the same application requirements for regular membership. Associate Members do not have voting rights and are not required to attend club meetings and functions.

It is also required that applicants be  in good standing with the American Kennel Club and agree to abide by the Constitution and By-laws and the Code of Ethics of this club:  PWCCSC Code of Ethics.
